Screen printing, DTF transfers for labels

DTF is a newly emerging technology that allows you to produce transfers for labels in an economical and high-quality manner. With a special printer, the design of the label is printed on the film in a mirrored manner and sprinkled with glue, which, when melted, allows the paint to adhere to the fabric. The transfer can be transferred to the garment in 20-30 seconds with the help of a heat press or an iron. The cost of producing (transferring) one logo is extremely low.

Transfers can also be made using screen printing technology. These are made by placing many small logos (inscriptions) on an A4 sheet and tracing them with a net on special transfer paper. Minimum order quantity 25 pcs. A4 sheets.

Both DTF and silkscreen transfers are a durable and high-quality alternative to woven and embroidered labels, as their production and transfer is faster and simpler. Smaller quantities are available. In comparison, the production of the label itself is significantly more expensive, and the removal of the old one and/or the sewing of a new one is relatively inexpensive and greatly increases the cost of the garment.

Application

Transfers are often used by creators of clothing lines, artists, influencers who create "merch". The transfer on the neck helps convey that the brand is authentic and worked to the smallest detail. Relatively inexpensive transfer printing and fast transfer allow you to strengthen the brand very inexpensively, but effectively. Also, these transfers can be used not only on the neck - designers are increasingly choosing non-standard label locations on the outside. For example, on the sleeves, on the edge of the waist, parallel seam, etc.

Stanley&Stella clothing, which is officially represented by us in Lithuania, does not have its own labels, which should be removed in order to create your own brand. This simplifies the creation of the image - a transfer with the brand logo is applied and the garment becomes ready for sale!

Advantages:

  1. A cheaper alternative to woven labels.

  2. Can be produced in small quantities.

  3. Quick transfer on clothes.

  4. Quality and durable printing.

Disadvantages:

  1. Transferring with an iron can be risky, a job better left to the press manufacturers

File requirements

The requirements for DTF and Silkscreen transfers are different.

For the production of DTF transfers, a high-quality .png file is required, without a background. RGB color mode is required. The picture must correspond to real dimensions and a resolution of 300 dpi. Normally, printing works best with a file of at least 3500x3500 px. There must be no empty space on the sides of the file so that we can select accurate dimensions when printing. In order to obtain perfectly matching colors, please order a test production or select colors in the press file according to our printed palette. Each device prints differently, so we cannot guarantee that the image will match the one seen on the computer screen.

Screen printing transfersa quality vector file is required for production. Available formats: PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, CDR. Pantone CMYK color mode is required. Texts must be skewed. Otherwise, the text displayed to the customer and the manufacturer may differ.
