Technologies that are used to transfer logos onto clothing

Many different factors must be taken into account when making a print on clothes. First of all, you need to choose the right clothes. It is important to pay attention at where they will be used  - whether they are promotional company clothes, or clothes intended for sale, etc. Then choose the most suitable models, colors and composition. It is no less important to choose the right print production method. All printing technologies have their own advantages, so it is important to clarify your expectations, which will allow you to make the best decision when choosing the right printing technology. We have been printing clothes for many years, thus we have experience to help our customers choose the most suitable technology. Below are brief descriptions of technologies that will help you better understand printing technologies for clothes.

DTF Direct to film

This technology partially replaces the DTG technology. One of the advantages of avoiding the priming process is the reduction of pressure marks. It is also great that you can get a relatively even print, regardless of the quality (surface smoothness, material thickness) of the garment. There is also more flexibility in choosing a position. It is mostly used for the production of various cotton or cotton and polyester clothes: T-shirts, sweaters, bags, etc. Special glue is used for adhesion - in the presence of cotton, the glue is easily absorbed into the material. Unfortunately, production on synthetic surfaces is more complicated - it does not always adhere effectively to jackets, vests and similar clothes.

Direct printing (DTG - direct to garment)

Direct printing, also known as DTG is a method in which special inks are poured directly into the fabric. This printing method is very high-quality and long-lasting, and is suitable for both large and small quantities. Even the smallest details and the brightest colors are extracted during direct printing.

Embroidery

Embroidery is one of the highest quality technologies for customising clothes. Embroidery is the most durable technique, but may not be suitable for all designs. Small, very dense and large or multi-colored designs may be too complex to embroider or may not be cost-effective to embroider.

Heat transfer

Special stickers are used, which are heated to the garment with a heat press. There is often a myth that such printing is not high quality, but if done correctly, it can be long-lasting. This printing method is most suitable for polyester garments such as jackets, vests, polyester, umbrellas, backs, etc. It is also possible to produce unique style designs - for example, using reflective, flock, mirror, gold, shiny glitter, brick (3d embossed) films. This printing method is usually one of the cheapest (except when non-standard films are chosen. The vinyl can also be a printed and cut out.

Screen printing

Screen printing is suitable for printing on most fabrics, but the quality of the material affects the quality of the print. Thinner or lower quality fabrics (with more polyester) may absorb some of the dye, resulting in a duller print. When printing on fluffy surfaces, there is a risk that the print will be uneven, shaggy. The technology can also be done on boxes, promotional items or other items. THe method is usually chosen when there is a simple logo of one or just a few colors and large quantities of clothes are produced. For more complex, multi-colored designs or individual orders, other methods are more cost-effective.

Screen printing, DTF transfers for labels

DTF is a newly emerging technology that allows you to produce transfers for labels in an economical and high-quality manner. With a special printer, the design of the label is printed on the film in a mirrored way and sprinkled with glue, which, when melted, allows the paint to adhere to the fabric. The transfer can be transferred to the garment in 20-30 seconds with the help of a heat press or an iron. The cost of producing (transferring) one logo is extremely low.

Transfers can also be made using screen printing technology. These are made by placing many small logos on an A4 sheet and tracing them with a net on special transfer paper. Minimum order quantity 25 pcs. A4 sheets.

Both DTF and silkscreen transfers are a durable and high-quality. Compared to embroidered labels their production and application is faster and simpler. Smaller orders are available.

Wide format printing

A wide format printer can produce many different products. Suppliers can offer a wide variety of films, both printed and with ready-made colors or textures. The materials from which these films are made are also different - they can be based on PVC or natural cotton or paper. The main print products are stickers, posters and printed canvases.

Custom printed canvas

One of the coolest home accessories are paintings on canvas. Give your drawing or photo a chance to show off on your website. With the help of a modern wide-format printer, we can print your desired picture and attach it to wooden supports.

We print with professional Japanese Roland printers and relatively environmentally friendly eco-solvent paints. We use CMYK plus additional light inks for correct reproduction of colors and transitions - we are focused on high print quality. We choose only good quality material so that the produced stickers can last perfectly in various conditions.

Production of stickers, adhesive labels, car wraps.

We provide production services of printed and plotted stickers in small and large quantities. We can help you with design preparation - we will make sure that the files are ready for accurate color rendering. The most common ways to apply stickers:

Poster printing

An alternative to printed canvas is framed posters. A picture placed in a frame has its own charm that can bring color to the interior. Posters are also used in advertising - being placed on billboards.

Posters with individual printing can be used to monetize your creations! Poster printing is relatively cheap and the potential selling prices in the retail market are extremely high. The manufactured product can be packed in a small tube after being rolled, as a result of which the shipping costs both abroad and in Lithuania are low.
