Screen printing on textile

Screen printing on textiles - what is it?

Printing on textiles has been known since ancient times. Screen printing on textiles is one of the oldest ways to print fabrics. Over time, technologies have changed, but the basic principle of the method has remained similar - a special stencil grid is made on which the paint is transferred. This printing method is intended for flat surfaces. High-quality screen printing on textiles is extremely high quality, long-lasting, resistant to weather conditions and high temperatures. This printing method is suitable and used not only for clothes, but also for paper, paper bags or even exclusive business cards. Screen printing on textiles is best for bulk orders, as each design requires a separate screen mesh to be produced, so the cost of printing is usually dependent on the quantity of the order. Contact us and we will calculate the cost of your printing using screen printing technology. You are always welcome to visit our office in Vilnius.

Which printing method to choose?

We print on textiles in several ways: DTG (direct printing), thermal printing, screen printing, embroidery. Each technology has different advantages, and each order requires careful consideration of which method to choose. We are always happy to advise our customers. Below are the questions to consider before choosing a printing method:

What promotional clothing/accessories will I use?

If you are going to print on t-shirts, dresses, pants, both DTG and screen printing methods are perfect for you. If you put it on sports clothes, the best choice in most cases is thermal printing. If you will use non-flat surfaces, for example, caps, you should choose embroidery.

What is my order size?

If your order with one design is from 30 units, you can definitely choose screen printing on textiles, if the order is smaller, you should choose DTG or thermal printing.

What is my design?

For designs with many small details, gradient color palettes, it is best to choose direct printing. You will also get the most accurate colors using DTG. In other cases, screen printing is perfect if the design is monochrome - the most economical option is thermal printing.

Is it important that the press is not affected by environmental conditions?

If so, the best choice is screen printing on textiles that are most resistant to weather conditions and high temperatures. The print made by the silk-screen method is extremely long-lasting.
